How to Apply and Remove Magic Adhesive Tabs?

by LynEva 07 Jul 2024 0 Comments

Correct application methods can maximize the strong adhesive power of magic adhesive tabs, ensuring a longer-lasting and more comfortable wearing experience. Below, I will introduce application and removal methods.

Buff-free Application Methods

Unlike traditional gel adhesives, Magic Adhesive Tabs eliminate the need for nail buffing, significantly reducing application time. However, ensure to clean nails, press firmly, and avoid water after application. Here are the specific steps:

  1. Cleanse nails with soap, allowing nails to dry. Soap effectively removes oils from the surface of your nails.
  2. Apply adhesive tabs of appropriate size to each nail, pressing firmly each one for 5-10 seconds
  3. Peel off the protective film, place and press the fake nails firmly again for 5-10 seconds each, focusing especially on the edges of the nails.
  4. Avoid water contact for two hours.

If you frequently change your press-on nails every day, you may not need to avoid water for the first 2 hours after application, which can facilitate easier removal on the same day. However, if you wish to wear them for a longer period, consider applying them before bed and avoid contact with water and any skincare products on your hands. This allows ample time for the adhesive to bond securely with the nail surface.

Our adhesive tabs are like superheroes of stickiness – way stronger than ordinary ones. Sometimes they might be too sticky to peel off, but don’t panic! Just pull the backing in the opposite direction for a clean getaway. For the full scoop, check out our video tutorial. Thanks for sticking with us (pun intended)!

Removal Methods

Use a wooden stick or similar tool to gently lift the edges of the press-on nails and carefully work around them to remove them.

For an even easier and gentler method, simply soak your nails in water and then use the dental floss provided to remove the adhesive tabs. This approach causes less stress on your natural nails compared to using a wooden stick or other tools. For a step-by-step guide, watch the video below:
